What we do

Three services, one purpose: fair contracts for UK buyers

Clean Contracts UK runs three linked services. The scorecard is free. Operator matching only happens if you say yes. Ongoing monitoring is a quiet, low-touch check so you are never caught out at renewal time.

Service one

The contract scorecard

A free 3-minute diagnostic for your existing cleaning contract

Most buyers who take the scorecard have not checked their contract or benchmarked their price in two years or more. The scorecard runs the same checks across five areas, against the 9 red flags we found in 137 UK contracts, and gives you a written report that tells you where you stand.

It is 14 questions, about three minutes. It covers contract terms, pricing and value, service delivery, communication, and compliance. You do not need your contract open to take it, but having it to hand makes the answer more accurate. No account, no sales call.

You get the result in two parts. First, your tier shows on screen as soon as you finish. Second, within a few hours, your written report arrives by email. It lists the red flags you triggered, gives a yearly cost where it matters, and sets out next steps for your contract type and region.

What you get

  • Tier result on screen straight away (Tier 1 to Tier 4)
  • Written audit report by email, usually within a few hours
  • Up to 9 red flags checked one by one
  • Yearly cost estimate where it matters to your tier
  • Clear next steps for each red flag we find
  • Free re-check 90 days before your renewal date

Operator matching

Hand picked introductions to vetted UK cleaning operators

If your score says a change of operator is in your interest, and you opt in at the last question of the scorecard, we pick one operator from our UK panel and introduce you by email within 24 hours.

We use your scorecard answers to set the region, sector, building size and how urgent it is. We do not send a list of operators. We make one careful match, check both sides got the email, and step back. There is no auction and no margin taken from the contract. The operator we introduce has been through our checks, holds current public liability and employer's liability insurance, and has given references from similar commercial clients.

The introduction is warm. The operator knows your building type, your rough contract value and the key issues from your audit before the email lands. You are not starting from scratch.

What you get

  • Opt in only at the last question of the scorecard
  • One careful introduction, not a list of operators to chase
  • Email introduction within 24 hours of your opt-in
  • Operator briefed on your region, sector and main audit findings
  • Insurance, references and regional capacity all checked
  • Free for buyers at every stage

Service three

Ongoing monitoring

Light touch follow through at the moments that matter

An introduction is only useful if it actually leads somewhere. Ongoing monitoring is how we stay honest about that. We do not run the buyer and operator relationship for you. We just check in at the two moments where early relationships most often stall.

At day 14 after an introduction, we send a short email check-in. Has the operator been in touch? Has a site visit or quote been booked? If nothing has happened, we note it and decide whether a second match would help. At day 30, we check again.

90 days before your renewal date, we come back with a fresh market price check. This is not a sales contact. It is a short note that renewal is coming, plus an up-to-date view of the market rate for your contract type and region.

What you get

  • Day 14 check-in to see if the introduction is moving
  • Day 30 review, with a second match option if needed
  • 90 days before renewal, a fresh market price check for your contract
  • Option to take a new scorecard at any renewal, free
  • No account manager calls, only email unless you ask
  • Written contact only, with a full record
